Who We Are

Family Promise of Lawton, Inc. became incorporated in 2009 and began hosting families in 2012. We provide shelter for families by utilizing the community as a network of support. The mission of Family Promise of Lawton, Inc is to equip and empower homeless families with children to achieve sustainable independence. The values of Family Promise include extending dignity, treating everyone with equal value and worth, giving every individual the opportunity to grow and thrive, keeping families together which in turn enables holistic change, utilizing compassion which leads to quality relationships and our commitment to our mission. In 2023, Family Promise housed 14 families, including 23 children, and for every dollar raised, three were returned to the community in the form of goods and services.
